Educational Qualification for IBPS CRP CSA-XV Recruitment (as on 01.08.2025)

1. Educational Qualification
  • Requirement: A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university (approved by UGC/government).

  • Key Points:

    • Candidates from any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering, etc.) are eligible.

    • The degree must be completed before the final date of application. Candidates appearing in the final semester are not eligible.

    • The university/institute should issue authentic certificates, and candidates must provide mark sheets/provisional degrees at the time of document verification.

2. Computer Literacy
  • Requirement: Working knowledge of computer systems is essential.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • If the candidate has studied Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Applications as a subject at the High School / Diploma / Degree level, it will be considered an advantage.

    • Otherwise, a basic computer course certificate (such as CCC, MS Office, etc.) from a recognized institute will also be accepted.

  • Reason: Clerical jobs in banks involve working with banking software, data entry, customer records, and digital platforms, hence computer literacy is essential.

3. Language Proficiency (Local Language)
  • Requirement: The candidate must be proficient in the official language of the State/Union Territory (UT) for which he/she is applying.

  • Proficiency Includes:

    • Reading

    • Writing

    • Speaking

  • Example: If you’re applying for a clerical position in Gujarat, you must be proficient in Gujarati. If it’s in Tamil Nadu, you must know Tamil, and so on.

  • Note: Language proficiency will be tested at the time of document verification. In some cases, candidates may be required to pass a language proficiency test (LPT) if the bank is not satisfied with the candidate’s local language knowledge.

Age Limit for IBPS CRP CSA-XV Recruitment (As on 01.08.2025)

  • Minimum Age: 20 years
  • Maximum Age: 28 years

Age relaxation :

Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST)
  • Relaxation: 5 years

  • Maximum Age Limit: 33 years

  • Notes:

    • Must have a valid SC/ST caste certificate issued by a competent authority.

    • SC/ST candidates are also eligible for fee concessions and reserved seats.

Other Backward Classes (OBC) – Non-Creamy Layer
  • Relaxation: 3 years

  • Maximum Age Limit: 31 years

  • Notes:

    • Only candidates from the non-creamy layer are eligible for this relaxation.

    • A valid OBC certificate with a clear mention of non-creamy layer status (usually valid for 1 year) is required.

    • Creamy layer OBC candidates are treated as General category.

Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD)
  • Relaxation: 10 years

  • Maximum Age Limit: 38 years (for General), 41 years (for OBC), 43 years (for SC/ST)

  • Eligible Disabilities:

    • Blindness/low vision

    • Deaf and hard of hearing

    • Locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims, and muscular dystrophy

  • Note: A valid PwBD certificate from a certified medical board is required.

Ex-Servicemen (ESM) / Disabled Ex-Servicemen (DESM)
  • Relaxation: Actual period of service in the armed forces + 3 years

    • For SC/ST ESM: 8 years additional

    • Maximum Age Limit: 50 years

  • Definition:

    • Ex-Servicemen are those who served in the Army, Navy, or Air Force, and were honorably discharged.

  • Important: Total age after adding service years + 3 years must not exceed 50 years.

Widows / Divorced Women / Legally Separated Women (Not Remarried)
  • Relaxation:

    • General / EWS: up to 35 years

    • OBC: up to 38 years

    • SC/ST: up to 40 years

  • Condition:

Selection Process

The selection process consists of two main stages:
